Rooted in culture, Filipino families live together. Traffic jams, however, rob us of the opportunity to enjoy our time with families and friends. Millions endure the pains of daily commute and lose 16 days a year stuck in traffic jams, costing up to PhP 3.5 billion a day of lost income opportunities.

We built a web app that would optimize the use of digital technology to achieve a healthy work-life balance. Find out how we rethink telecommuting work so that there is time for meaningful relationships and worthwhile community involvement.

The Future of Distribution Systems

Solar panel installations in the Philippines is rising and various studies have been conducted to study the impact on the distribution system parameters when there is solar energy penetration in the electric system. Studies show that too much power coming from embedded solar energy generation causes increase in voltage and current, exceeding their nominal values.

We developed a model, based on a simulation of power ratings in Metro Manila, that will significantly reduce the amount of manhours and labor necessary for future distribution impact and asset studies. These results may now be used in order to implement policies and set standards that would make the net-metering application faster, more efficient and less costly. Our model ensures that the system maintains high-quality while staying safe, reliable and more environmental - making secondary distribution networks future proof.
