While working at Cropital, I worked with the tech team in setting up a Value Chain Finance system for the company using Django for back end development. This project helped the company transition from handwritten records and loan applications to digital - where new loans and their status is reflected on the app in real-time.
Because Cropital is in the social entrepreneuship space creating solutions for farmers in need, I was accepted into University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies where I worked with other leaders in the industry and in the academe to use Data Science in proposing public policies for social good.
